Think about when are you? Is it when you are with certain friends or family? At work?
Point is, it’s healthy but it’s also hard to do.
It’s important to be aware of how you are & when , in what context.
Some ideas that you might do in trying to think more about when are you , yourself?
- Think back when you were figuring out what you really liked to do, when did you or do you feel more at ease?
- The growth times in your life such as meeting someone, finishing school, experiencing a feeling of success – what were these?
- Name your top 3 or so qualities that you feel you walk the talk in life.
- Have a personal goal of spending more of the day coming from yourself. Even at work, you contribute or do something that matters.
I can do no 1,2 pretty well. No. 3 it’s a small but quality list. No. 4 is ongoing.
I am a big fan of knowing the context – where are you, who are you with , etc… This is important – because I think it’s one of the starting points to healing. If you can’t figure these out, I would recommended sitting outside with limited noise, listening back to your favorite songs in high school and thinking about it.
