Depression

 

Defining depression:

Depression is often feeling of sadness, and loss of interest. You may feel down but not really know why. You may feel this for a week or longer but it is a feeling that you don’t feel happy. Every person is unique in how depression affects them.

How you experience it:   

Depression can have several symptoms you experience. You may have trouble sleeping, concentrating, find yourself getting angry more often, etc.. It can also be a feeling of a lack of energy to do anything or do things you would normally do.

Why seek mental health counseling?

Counseling is a beginning to uncover what is happening with you or what has led up to this point in your life when you feel different. Becoming aware of contributing factors and how they affect you is key to begin working on feeling better. I work with you to find coping & healing solutions to a better you.
