What To Expect when beginning counseling sessions. . .

  • Initially, insurance & rates are discussed to inform clients what payment either by insurance or self-pay will be for sessions.

  • Sessions are 50 to 55 minutes for in-person and telehealth. Therapist will schedule with client until online scheduling is available.

  • Every new client will receive a link to their online portal for all online paperwork including form signing.

  • Therapy is confidential, any request to talk with another professional for continuity of care therapist will supply an online release of information.

Mental Health Counseling Rates , Payments & Insurance

  • Insurance accepted: Anthem, BCBS Indiana , Health Direct, IU Health, Cigna, Lyra, United and UMR

  • Counseling rates are the negotiated insurance rates. If paying by any credit card, square up processing fee’s are added.

  • If there is a deductible that has to be met before counseling is paid, clients are expected to pay on date of service. Counseling session is submitted by therapist to insurance company.

  • Insurance doesn’t pay for time speaking to GALS, lawyers or preparing/sending files to other professionals. An hourly fee may apply up to a session rate.

  • Insurance doesn’t pay for missed appointments.

  • Rates vary from $106.00 to 125.00
